Our client is looking for an occupational health advisor, working part time 2 days on site at Hinkley Point B nuclear power station near Bridgewater in Somerset. Ideally you would have worked within the energy sector as part of a small and friendly team. The salary is £18K but there is the possibility of working full time for the right candidate as a remote case manager for the remaining days
What you'll be doing:
• Carry out Health Surveillance and Fitness for work assessments
• Undertake case management over the phone/in person, producing high standard and quality management advice reports
Qualifications
• Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration with qualification/experience in Occupational Health
• Experience in a commercial occupational health setting, particularly with exposure to case management and health surveillance.
• Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
• Previous management experience
Skills
Experience working within A&E/intensive care
Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
Previous Occupational Health experience is preferable
Salary
The salary for this role is up to £45K per annum. £18,000 for 2 days a week.
Certifications
Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration with qualification/experience in Occupational Health.
