The role:
As a Functional Assessor, you'll conduct Work Capability Assessments, using your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person's health condition or disability affects their ability to work. You'll produce objective, evidence-based reports that directly inform DWP decision-making — combining your clinical judgement with strong written communication skills.
What you'll need:
- Current, unrestricted UK registration (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 years' post-registration clinical experience
- Strong report writing and IT skills
- Excellent communication and empathy, balanced with objectivity
