Full-Time Functional Assessor – Entry Level (Southend)

Salary: £47,853 + £1,000 uplift in year one + performance‑related bonus

About the Role

Our client in Southend is now recruiting full‑time Functional Assessors at entry level, offering a fully supported transition for clinicians seeking a move away from traditional clinical environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct functional assessment consultations with claimants
  • Review medical evidence and produce clear, structured clinical reports
  • Work within clinical guidance to ensure fair and accurate assessments
  • Engage in ongoing CPD throughout a comprehensive training programme
  • Enjoy stable weekday hours with no shift work or weekend commitments

Who We’re Looking For

This role is open to qualified and registered clinicians from the following backgrounds:

  • Nurses RGN only
  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational Therapists

You must hold valid NMC or HCPC registration and have at least 12 months of post‑registration experience.

Please note:
This role is NOT suitable for RSCNs (Registered Sick Children’s Nurses) or Midwives, as the position requires adult‑based clinical assessment experience aligned with DWP guidelines. Additionally this role does NOT offer Visa Sponsorship.
