About the Role
Are you a qualified healthcare professional looking for a new, rewarding direction in your career? We are seeking Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to join our team of PIP Functional Assessors.
This role offers a unique opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a non‑clinical setting—carrying out holistic assessments, reviewing medical evidence, and preparing detailed reports that help inform decisions on Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claims.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting face-to-face, telephone, or video assessments with claimants.
- Gathering a clear understanding of how an individual’s health condition affects their daily life.
- Reviewing additional clinical information and medical evidence.
- Producing high-quality, evidence-based reports—no treatment, diagnosis, or clinical intervention required.
- Working within clear guidelines, supported by robust training and continuous professional development.
What We’re Looking For
- Current registration with NMC / HCPC (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic).
- Minimum 1 year post-registration experience.
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and report-writing skills.
- Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively.
- Empathetic, patient-centred approach with strong professional integrity.
