About the Role

Are you a qualified healthcare professional looking for a new, rewarding direction in your career? We are seeking Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to join our team of PIP Functional Assessors.

This role offers a unique opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a non‑clinical setting—carrying out holistic assessments, reviewing medical evidence, and preparing detailed reports that help inform decisions on Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claims.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting face-to-face, telephone, or video assessments with claimants.
  • Gathering a clear understanding of how an individual’s health condition affects their daily life.
  • Reviewing additional clinical information and medical evidence.
  • Producing high-quality, evidence-based reports—no treatment, diagnosis, or clinical intervention required.
  • Working within clear guidelines, supported by robust training and continuous professional development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current registration with NMC / HCPC (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic).
  • Minimum 1 year post-registration experience.
  • Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and report-writing skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively.
  • Empathetic, patient-centred approach with strong professional integrity.

What We Offer

  • Starting salary from £37,800 (higher earnings available with progression).
  • Full‑time and part‑time options to support work–life balance.
  • Extensive training programme and ongoing clinical support.
  • Opportunities for career development, including senior assessor and clinical mentor routes.
  • Generous benefits package (organisation-specific benefits can be added).
  • Hybrid and flexible working opportunities depending on location.

Why Join Us?

If you’re seeking a role that values your clinical expertise but offers a better work–life balance, professional growth, and the chance to make a real impact—this could be the perfect move for you.
